Dance Effect

Dance Effect provides an easy method to animate your videos to a music track. Animation is achieved by modifying Translation, Scale, Rotation, Opacity and Shear operators. The audio signal can be RMS, Peak or Average of the Mono, Left or Right channels.

You can download the Win or Mac trial version as well as a sample project to test it out. The watermark will be removed once you enter the activation code. The trial is full-featured except for the watermark.

This effect works with 8-bpc, 16-bpc, and 32-bpc color. The optimal usage will require 32-bpc and full resolution. In 32-bpc color, After Effects does not clip the video and allows the user to view any out-of-range data.

Controls

Dance Effect Controls :-

Matte Layer – Select the dancing layer from the comp.

Audio Data – Choose between None, RMS, Peak or Average.

Channel – Select between Mono, Left or Right.

Opacity Controls

Opacity -> Blend – Select the max blend of the dancing layer. For example at 100% and the Audio value of 1 (Max) the dancing layer is invisible.

Translation Controls

Translation -> Point – Select the max translation of the dancing layer. For example at 100,100 and the Audio value of 1 (Max) the dancing layer is shifted by 100 pixels in X-axis and 100 pixels in Y-axis.

Scale X Controls

Scale X -> Range – Select the max scale limit of the dancing layer. For example at 10 and the Audio value of 1 (Max) the dancing layer is scaled up 10 times on X-Axis.

Scale Y Controls

Scale Y -> Range – Select the max scale limit of the dancing layer. For example at 10 and the Audio value of 1 (Max) the dancing layer is scaled up 10 times on Y-Axis.

Rotation Controls

Rotation Center – Set the center point for the rotation operation.

Rotate -> Angle – Select the max angle limit of the dancing layer. For example at 100 deg and the Audio value of 1 (Max) the dancing layer is rotated 100 deg around the rotation center.

Shear X Controls

Shear X -> Angle – Select the max shear angle limit on X-axis of the dancing layer. For example at 100 deg and the Audio value of 1 (Max) the dancing layer is rotated 100 deg using the shear operator on X-axis.

Shear Y Controls

Shear Y -> Angle – Select the max shear angle limit on Y-axis of the dancing layer. For example at 100 deg and the Audio value of 1 (Max) the dancing layer is rotated 100 deg using the shear operator on Y-axis.
